Stellar Farms Training

Price list effective November 1, 2011

In order to board your horse with Stellar Farms Inc., you must participate in a lesson package or full training program and pay for a selected grooming service. Please note: board and haul in fees are to be paid to and mailed to LRSH.

LRSH BOARD: Selected board and haul in fees are to be paid to LRSH by the 1st prior to the horses use of a stall or a $25.00 late fee applies. See boarding contract for further details.
INDOOR BOARD: $680.00 per month for a 12 x 12 stall with individual ceiling fans and fly mist systems.
OUTSIDE BOARD: $500.00 per month for a 24 X 24 pipe stall with sand footing.
DAILY BOARD: Horses residing at LRSH less than two weeks. Indoor board: $30.00 per day. Outside board: $25.00 per day.
STELLAR FARMS INC. PAYMENTS: Please make training and grooming checks payable to Stellar Farms Inc. All payments are due by the 1st of every month prior to services rendered. Commissions are due at time of sale and all bills must be paid before horses depart barn permanently. Late payment results in a $25.00 fee. Repetitive late payers will be required to leave a deposit for services incurred. Haul in clients pay at time of lesson or schooling ride.
MANDATORY WORMING: A mandatory worming fee will be billed to horses boarding at LRSH
for bimonthly wormers administered by grooms. No substitute or client provided wormers will be considered. Cost is approximately $50.00 per year.
PARTIAL GROOMING SERVICE: $210.00 per month. Includes tacking up and grooming for trainer rides (3 times per week max), three turns outs weekly, travel wrapping, partial clipping and mane pulling for horse shows. Additional groom and turn out service needed will cost $12.00 per service.
FULL GROOMING SERVICE: $300.00 per month. Includes tack up service from 7 AM to 1 PM, up to 4 turn outs weekly, travel wrapping, partial clipping and mane pulling for horse shows.
LESSON PACKAGE: $500.00/month. A combination of training rides, lessons and Pessoa rig work tailored for each horse and rider.
FULL TRAINING: $575.00 /month, for horses ridden exclusively by trainers. Clients in training at Stellar Farms Inc. less than 2 weeks will be charged per ride or lesson at the current training ride/lesson rate.
LESSONS: $50.00 private or group
TRAINING RIDE: $50.00 per horse
HORSE SHOW SCHOOLING FEES: $45.00 /day per horse on show days for lesson package and full training horses, or per showing client on a shared horse in one of these programs. All others pay $55.00/day on schooling and show days. $160.00 day fee if a trainer’s services are required for a single client or horse. In addition to grooming and schooling fees, all grooming/tack rooms, feed, show set up expenses and bedding costs will be divided among each attending horse, whether it shows or not. Trainers show expenses such as food, gas, and hotel will divided among each attending horse. Open checks for the office are due to Liz at the time entries are due.
HORSE SHOW GROOMING FEES: $65.00/day per horse. Check made payable to groom is due on the last day of the show. Grooming service is required at “A” rated shows but is not mandatory at county shows. If you opt not to use a groom, you need to make arrangements with the show office for stabling options in a location other than with Stellar Farms. All horses stabled with Stellar Farms must pay for grooming service. Additionally, horse show set up fees begin on set up day, not the day your horse arrives at the horse show. A mandatory $30.00 tip per horse is to be given to the grooms at “A” shows and a $20.00 per horse tip at county shows.
GROOMING SUPPLY CHARGE: A grooming supply fee will be charged on a per horse basis as supplies are bought to to cover supplies used at home and at shows. This charge does not fluctuate based on the amount of shows attended by each client, or type of groom service chosen by each client.
HORSE COMMISSION: A mandatory 15% commission is to be paid at the time of the sale, if my services are used in the evaluating, marketing, buying, selling, leasing or trading of a horse. For sales over $100,000, a 10% commission will be charged. For sales requiring overnight travel, a $100.00 trainer per diem will be charged to client. A $400.00 fee will be charged for advertising and/or referral services for horses marketed but not sold by Stellar Farms Inc.
STELLAR FARMS INC. is a show barn and our priorities are with those that show. We will try to accommodate riders not attending the shows, yet due to the small and exclusive nature of our business, we will not always be able to teach those not attending shows. The horses left at home will still be ridden and turned out.
